Siege tip #1: Reduce computer lag
1) Turn off all programs you possibly can
2) If you're on a laptop, plug in laptop and set to highest performance
3) If you're connected to a router, make sure nobody else is downloading anything
4) Keep your computer cool and well ventilated
5) Lower all settings on Rappelz, turn off damage counter. (Ever get hit by 20 people at same time? Sure you'll die, but you'll find out you're dead 5 minutes after you're dead)
Siege tip #2: Make yourself comfy
1) Get a comfy chair to sit in. You might be here for 2 hours
2) Get a snack, and definitely a bottle of water
3) Go to the bathroom before the siege starts
4) If you're using ventrillo, skype, teamspeak, or any other voice-chatting system, set volume to something comforting
Siege tip #3: Be prepared at least half an hour in advance
1) That means half an hour before the siege starts, you should have everything you want to bring to the siege, so that you can pay attention to the siege plans. Perhaps you should also review the map of the dungeon at this time. How often have plans gone awry because people run to AB room instead of Draco room in CV? (Answer: lost 2 sieges when we might have stood a chance)
2) For PP siege, it takes roughly 10 minutes for the opponent to get to choke point, but in other dungeons, it's roughly 2 minutes. Which means if you're late, you won't be buffed, you will be running in to get slaughtered, and we'll probably be overrun.
